Please join staff from the Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI-USA) for a workshop on November 17th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. to learn about the Agricultural Reinvestment Fund, their grant program for farmers and agricultural enterprises.

The workshop will be held in the downstairs auditorium of the Chatham County Cooperative Extension Center in the Agriculture Building at 65 East Chatham St., Pittsboro, NC. Farmers, ag entrepreneurs, and other agricultural businesses and community-based groups are encouraged to attend.

There is no need to register for the workshop – just show up.

RAFI staff will have printed applications available at the workshop and will explain how to apply. The available grants are up to $8,000 for individual farmers and up to $10,000 for collaborative groups.

Free copies of RAFI’s farm finance and risk management guides and resources for farmers will also be available for all attendees.

RAFI’s Agricultural Reinvestment Fund is now accepting inquiries and applications. Please visit the grants webpage to learn more about the program and to fill out a short inquiry form. RAFI staff will then contact you with more information about grants and resources.
