Extension Master Gardener HotlineAs the growing season picks up, you can call or email for help with your gardeing questions. The Extension Master Gardener℠ (EMG) Hotline, 704-922-2138 is open from April through October. Also, you can email questions to: emgvofgastoncounty@gmail.com. Volunteers return calls and emails on Tuesdays and Thursdays during these months.

National Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Week

The first week of Spring is the perfect time to celebrate National Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteer Week and to let you know what they are doing in Gaston County. These volunteers are committed to community volunteering and to keeping up with current gardening/horticultural education.

EMG Volunteers support the mission of North Carolina Cooperative Extension by
educating residents about safe, effective, and sustainable gardening practices that grow healthy people, gardens, landscapes, and communities. Upcoming Workshops

The EMG programs are open to the public and free of charge. Workshops are held from 10 -11 a.m. the Citizens Resource Center, 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy.
