What are 4-H volunteers?
4-H volunteers are an essential part of Moore County 4-H. Volunteers serve as leaders and role models for 4-H youth. Whether you are looking to start a new 4-H club, assist with camps, or help out a few hours with events, we are excited to welcome you!
See the different volunteer options below so you can select which level matches the capacity you wish to serve in.
Level 1 volunteers typically serve as club leaders, co-leaders, or assist with summer camps. They are able to be in care, custody, and control on youth. Level 1 volunteers require a background check and 3 references to serve in Moore County.
Level 2 volunteers can assist with club activities, events, and other programs. They must be with level 1 volunteers or staff while working with youth. Level 2 volunteers must submit 3 references, but do not require a background check to serve in Moore County.
Requirements for Volunteers
Level 1:
- Enroll in 4-H Online
- Complete Background Check
- Submit 3 References
- Complete Minors Regulations Trainings in 4-H Online
Level 2:
- Enroll in 4-H Online
- Submit 3 References
- Complete Minors Regulations Trainings in 4-H Online
Volunteer Leaders' Association
