Safe Plates for Food Managers

Safe Plates for Managers is a food safety training course developed by NC State University. It prepares those who work in the foodservice industry for the Food Safety Manager Certification Examination. Certification is based on passing the CFP-ANSI accredited exam from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.

Passing this exam satisfies the FDA Model Food Code requirement for a certified food protection manager.

Class: April 24 and May 1, 2023 (both days require your attendance)
Time: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm     (*1-hour lunch break on your own)

Exam: May 8, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.  – 12:00 noon

Location:  N.C. Cooperative Extension, Moore County Center 707 Pinehurst Avenue, Carthage, NC 28327

Registration Fee for Class: $125 (includes the cost of the manual, handouts, study materials, and exam)

*Check payments must be received by 5:00 pm April 10, 2023 in order to participate in the class and take the exam.
