Moore County 4-H Top Shots Shooting Sports Club 

Currently, this club is inactive. We are looking for qualified adult volunteer leaders to step up. If you are passionate about teaching youth responsible gun safety, please contact the Moore County Center at 910-947-3188.

Focus: Shotgun (12 and 20 GA), Rifle (.22), Archery (Recurve and Compound), Careers In Shooting Sports, Leadership, and Teamwork Development

Dare to Be Different 4-H Club

The focus of this club is to instill life skills, self-worth, morals, values, promote education, and invest in our community. The club partners with a local church providing bookbags, school supplies for children who are less fortunate.

Meetings: Virtual, differing each month

Ages: 8-18


Growing Farmers 4-H Club

The Growing Farmers focus on livestock and gardening. They will visit farms and different events across Moore County, assist with the fair barn during the county fair, participate in community service projects, and more. You do not need to have any animals to join, just an interest!

Meeting Time: 2nd Friday of the month, 6:30 pm

Location: West End, NC

Ages: 8-18

Moore County 4-H Sewing Club

The 4-H Sewing Club helps learn creative sewing skills in a fun, hands-on environment! Members explore everything from basic stitching and machine safety to designing and completing their own projects. No prior knowledge is necessary.

Meeting Time: 1st Wednesday of the month, 5:30-6:45 pm

4-H Club Leader: Ellen Haenlein

Silver Spurs 4-H Horse Club

The Silver Spurs emphasize responsible horse care, sportsmanship, and leadership. They have opportunities to participate in clinics, workshops with professionals, compete in horse shows, attend camps, and do community service projects. You do not have to own a horse to be a part of the club!

Meeting Time: 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 6-7:30 pm

4-H Club Leader: Rosemary Austin

Moore County 4-H Teen Council

Teen Council focuses on citizenship and leadership opportunities in 4-H and its community. If there is something you are passionate about in your community, the Teen Council will help you build the leadership skills to make the change you want to see!

Meeting Time: 3rd Thursday of the month, 5-6 pm

4-H Vass-Lakeview Cloverbud Club

Focus: Local Foods and Farming, Discovery
