The Extension Master Gardeners℠ of Moore County Hotline is open each year Monday-Friday from  April 1-October 31, from 10:00 am-12 noon to answer your homeowner gardening questions. Call the hotline at 910-947-4653 or stop by the Extension office.  No appointment is necessary.

North Carolina Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers (EMGVs) are leaders in the internationally acclaimed Master Gardener^SM program, guiding homeowners in making environmentally sound decisions in their landscapes. Trained by North Carolina State University faculty and staff, EMGVs provide research-based information about gardening and environmental stewardship to individuals and communities across the state. EMGVs engage the community through education and outreach on a wide variety of subjects and through a broad spectrum of projects, all designed to maximize their impact.
